also, i wasn't suggesting that everyone hit their children, only that it be allowed for those who want to. it'd be hard to regulate between reinforcement and child abuse so that's why it'll never happen..
No, it should never be allowed. It can't be allowed because there's no way to test if a parent is a loving dumbass. If the parent is a loving dumbass, then they will hit their kids when it is obviously not the logical solution. You shouldn't teach your kids what is wrong. You should teach them why it's wrong. If they know why, then they won't do it. They shouldn't have to suffer with pain just because they weren't taught correctly in the first place.
