she was in special education up untill the 10th grade

she cant comprehend correctly
she can not take tests correctly. questions have to be read out to her and she has to give answers verbally

those are the 2 big things. now she is on her own and she is screwed either way

i was talking generally

also, i wasn't suggesting that everyone hit their children, only that it be allowed for those who want to. it'd be hard to regulate between reinforcement and child abuse so that's why it'll never happen..

Meh. ADD runs in the family. She got hit bad. I just got sideswiped. Plus they tried physical punishment and it did not work. So they had to do something else
