Scripts - Notepad
Textures - Any image editing program, I suggest not using MSPaint for anything too good, if you even make textures at all. Best idea would be to use the textures stated in the flatshading tutorial.
Sounds - Internet or Sound Recorder.
Music - For making music, get a recording studio, for modifying music, dunno, for converting it, Switch or Audacity.

http://www.Blender.org tutorials there on modeling. Then, export DTS to the shapes and then script! Easy as that, but scripting takes a while to get used to. Yikes!
