Author Topic: How do you change Note Pad into a Cs. file?  (Read 1086 times)

Hello, I added some jobs to a cash mod and i cant seem to get it in the Add-On's Zipped file without it being a Note-Pad Text document, need some help, thankyou.  :cookieMonster:

change the .txt to .cs

open it

save as

change .txt to .cs

For instance.
Once you save your file, it automatically saves it as name.txt

So, when you hit "save as" make the name

Name.cs

And that changes the extension from .txt to .cs.

I have it enabled so it shows the file extension next to the file. I never used to because i thought it was ugly, but now i think its handy and useful for when windows screws up my icons

hmmm ill try it out, thanks
keep close for a minute though in case it doesnt work  :cookieMonster:

nope its not working...

It will still show up as a regular .txt icon, but when you right click and check preferences than it should say .cs file?

I'm not personally sure due to the fact that I use dreamweaver which for some reason, whenever I script in it, it automatically turns the file extension into a .cs

Due to lack of edit button, I'm making a second post...

W00t i got it to work, thanks guys, i just had to name the script the same as the old one and add the ".cs" to it thanks again mucho cookies to all of you  :cookie: x 666k
