You mean grow organs in a solution and eventually transplant them.

But they were doing machines, just to model you organs too.
I think those are already out there

This is absolutely great! I'd most probably build some various-sided dice first. (20 sizes yay)

Yes, most 3D printers are designed to take 3D meshes and convert them into a physical object. Compatibility is detirmined by the software they use with the printer. I would expect that any of the major formats (like .3DS) to be supported.
