Spore bug. Comunications not opening in space stage.

I just flew through the 7 (8?) orbs and now I have to talk to that guy on the communications tab but it won't open when I click it. I can't go to space or other planets so I can't save.

Spore is fun, you guys need to play before you pass judgement.

I played it, for about a month or two, I tried to force myself to like it because I waited so damn long for it. The game-play is too simple and the editors are completely useless because no matter what you make it will always behave the same. Not to mention the ''Oh, hurrrrrr look wat i made guise!!11'' thing gets old after awhile. Also, the DRM  that comes with the game is total bullstuff.
