We can't have a monopoly because it kills free trade, and that's what capitalism is all about.

Take into consideration that no country can have a perfect economical system. It's more of sharing ideas with other systems.

Well obviously, but with capitalism we attempted to create a free market that any one can control and by not having that ability then something is wrong. I'm just rather confused as to where Otis is coming from. I mean a monopoly is good for the company, and I can see if that company were good people and actually use their monopoly to benefit the consumer, but no one is "good people" especially not CEOs, they're what got our economy into this mess, that and the banks. So I just- I don't get it?

Ugh, I hate the bullstuff Charter has.  They have HD channels, but most of that is not HD, and you have to pay so much more for the stuff.

But yeah, you should switch. Insight is pretty good, especially if you get the 20.0 thing for internet you might get 2mb a sec like I do. As for TV wise, it's got 500+ channels. In the high hundreds it's just music stations.

Not taxes, pay per download. Like a taxi. You get in and say where you want to go, then they take you there with a little meter tracking how much distance you travel, and say a mile is a dollar and you go 12 miles, then you pay 12 dollars. Same thing with the internet, you download 12 things at a dollar a thing, you owe 12 dollars for the day. It's a completely stupid idea and I hope they lose enough customers to realize that that's horrible.
