Hosting a Dedicated Sever

Ok, i clicked on the dedciated.bat thingy and the programing popped up and it s going and then stops and says
and yes i do have RTB

then it goes a bit on (i did not type anything so far)
saying some random stuff and then saying a request for soulsayer (wtf?)
then at the very end (the thing thats up right now) saying

and i have not done anyhting yet excpet what it says but it doesnt do anything so any ideas or help telling me whats happening would be nice

That's making the server go to the master server, making it for people able to join.

And to set up RTB with Dedi's, you have to do what that says.

The whole dedicated server is that box. That black box with text is all that is needed to start a dedicated server. In order to modify what your dedicated server does, you need to edit some .cs files (notably prefs.cs) in order to set things such as passwords,  the server name, and who gets admin (though you may not need that if you have RTB). Modify the dedicated server .bat file will also let you choose which map to start by default.

If you want a guide to do all this just let me know.

This "problem" of yours is not even a loving problem, that is what it does, it doesn't open Blockland it opens a server. GOD!

step by step:

1. Start up them Blockland friends

2. Go into the Blockland file.

3. Press dedicated.bat

4. Wait for that RTB message to pop-up.

5. Look for your server.

6. Join said server.

7. Load said server.

8. Wait for people to join said server.

9. ???

10. PROFIT!

And for those of you who like abbreviations.

I think I will work to make the dedicated setup of RTB easier for people to understand. You would have thought a neat message would be enough but its pretty easy to underestimate the intelligence of the users of this game. Anyway you should just be able to start the dedicated then join it and it'll run that command for you magically. I'll add some confirmation messages for when you do it successfully.
