Author Topic: Cell Shading FX Paint Suggestion (Read 1014 times)

I would like to suggest an FX paint that makes your bricks appear Cell Shaded. With the thick black outline and exagerated light/shadow effect to give it the kinda cartoony look.
I will try to find a picture to show what I am talking about.

I also understand that the hope that I can make a V11 suggestion is rather slim, but the idea is interesting enough

Heres kinda what I am talking about, stuffty quality aside (done in mission editor, reducing ambient lighting from the sun to 0)

I see what you want and that would be pretty cool, especially for trying to make roof slats look real or floorboards without prints.

Well I wouldn't think this would have to be emitters as they would lag, but maybe some sort of thing created kinda like ghost bricks or whatever.
Also, I do see a point that people may associate it with windwaker, but I still beleive the effect would look very interesting.

I like the idea but I rather have an on/off option for it.
