Gmod Crashes

when ever I am playing gmod, and shoot a shotgun/other thing with a lot of particles, the computer gets a blue screen and restarts, why is this?

nope, Now it crashes randomly, like this combine was shooting at me, and it gave me blue screen and my pc restarted

There's nothing you can really do about this...

I noticed it crashed a lot less often if not at all if you make it run in DX7.

My garrysmod crashes randomly after more than an hour and a half.
And on CSS maps the animations,gravity gun, or physics gun forget up.

Is your hard drive close to being full? no joke, I think that is what fixed my garry's mod, try makeing some room.
