The Red payload's file has been in the TF2 folders since the Heavy update. So it's not technically new. And yes, it's just the Blu payload colored red.

I have an idea, what if the payload thing in the picture is actually a "U" shape, and you just can't see it connect. And when it gets to the halfway point, it turns around on some spinny platform. That would be amazing.
