block gravity gun?

alright, I know I have no expirience whatsoever with making/editing add-ons, but I had a theory. Would it be possible to make an add-on tool thats basically the duplicator and gravity gun combined? it would pick things up like the gravity gun, but like the duplicator it pics up bricks and you can move them to wherever your heart desires :D

It could if you somehow managed to lift the brick in the air while staying in the grid and put it down inside the grid right?

with brick physics it could, but the bricks would have to be fake broken (or whatever they call it, i forgot haven't played in a while)...
