Author Topic: Aviary(online vector and raster image creation and editing)  (Read 1678 times)

Aviary is a set of web based design products that you can use on any computer with flash enabled they have a variety of different products that range from a vector graphics program called Raven, to a planned 3D modeling software called Hummingbird. There are still a few minor bugs that I noticed (which could be my fault since I'm running Firefox portable) with some of the programs but I was able to create and export a few things earlier.  One of the cool things about it is you can export your creations to a variety of different formats, so if you want to edit it in another program later you can, also Raven exports to .png so you could create a decal for Blockland strait from there :D.  The site also has a blog section where news on upcoming releases are posted as well as a forum for any questions you might have. There is also a section with several tutorials covering their released products that you can look at.

Our paid plan is incredibly affordable ($9.99 a month), especially when compared with traditional desktop software that can costs thousands of dollars.

I don't know if this is old news to any but if you haven't heard of Aviary it's definitely something worth checking out.  Yes I copied some of the descriptions of their site :P

Where are the loving tutorials? I can't figure out what to do on raven.

These programs are useless with no tutorial and the one program that does have tutorials won't work right. Fail.

Works fine for me.

Maybe your just handicapped.

I just used Raven with no problems if you don't know how to use a vector editing program don't assume it doesn't work.
LOL ping I need to turn on "Notify of new replies"

I never said the raven thing didn't work, but it would be nice to have a tutorial.

There's a video tutorial right beside the launch button also check out the tutorial section the ones with a blue star beside them are only for payed members though.  Also which one didn't work?
