Can you alsow make it play sounds:
    • Rapid (timescale-ish)
    • Slow (timescale-ish)
    • Loud
    • Soft

First two need engine changes.
Second two need changes to datablocks, and tripling the number of sound datablocks used isn't a good idea.

Sorry.

This is PERFECT for my DM I'm making.

I am dreading the popularization of this.  I foresee not being able to spawn on a server without forced 2D Rick Astley music.  "Mwahaha, Trader!  You've just been rick-rolled, bitch!"

however, no more spamming telephone rings. I'm definitely running all my sounds client.

Which is why it only plays standard sounds, not looping music. You could just as easily spawn people in a forced minigame box with the same music on a music brick or a normal evented brick constantly playing it.

Perhaps, but 2D sounds are way more annoying when abused than 3D.

Then Self Delete or get rid of the source. You aren't affected by events for the first few seconds after you spawn, so it should be possible to avoid it. If someone is playing annoying sounds at you, they could just as easily be setPlayerTransform trapping you in a wall, instantly killing you or doing other things. If you cannot avoid it on spawning, leave the minigame or server.

Most events can be abused in some way, but they also give people options for more interactive events or builds. I found a need for these events a while back in making a puzzle, where I needed to play a sound to the client who 'picked up' an event-based tool needed to solve it, so I made this and released it to give other people the same option.
