HDTV AV HD VGA Cable for Xbox 360 Help?

This is what I have:


Now, I can play my 360 on my monitor just fine,
but you have to buy a cable for the RCA cables, the
problem I just went out and bought the cable, but it doesn't work.
The one I have look just like this, but all black:


Doesn't work, any ideas?

Try both of them. Swap the audio cables and try.

They are of none importance, I suggest you eat them.

But really did you check the set up manual?

Just get a regular one that's red and white on both sides and hook them up to your stereo, that's what I do when my graphics card dies and I just have this other monitor here and play it like that until I get a replacement.

You go to walmart or something and get a regular AV cable
Shouldn't be more then $2



Then get a small pair of connectors to extend the av cable to a sound source, I use my stereo for example Shouldn't be more then $0.80

Do your speakers have 1/8'' in or are you plugged into the headphone jack?
