Author Topic: Merging Bricks  (Read 704 times)

I was building some contraptions with FakeKillBrick and realized it would be cool if you could meld together bricks so they would act as one when FakeKilled.

Cool idea, just like in rtb :D

i really need this for a chain. it would be awesome.

It would be cool, not sure if it's possible seems complicated.

The duplicator seemed impossible too, but someone made it.
And if you think about it right, you would simply have to make a script that would pull the object close to the other one when fakekilled, id would just have to pull really hard xD

wouldn't work, and duplicator just copys the build, it doesn't seem impossible, where this is
edit: you would have to make bricks for every brick merge combination, and replace the bricks with the merged brick, and that is impossible, it can go on infinitly

The physics are client sided.
You can't really weld together what doesn't exist according to the server.

(yes, i love this little big guy. he cute.)

that too, but if you did make it, the possibilities of the bricks are endlist, imagine modeling them all, and also the server would crash instantly due to too many datablocks?

Server side brick physics?! :D
