Author Topic: G-mod addon problems.  (Read 1668 times)

So I bought G-mod a few days ago, and I'm trying to add add-ons. I know how to add them, as such putting them into the add-on folder. However, I'm having some trouble with weaponry. Whenever I try to install Twitch Weaponry, all the weapons are large ERROR signs. I also recently tried to install the Keypad, it was a large ERROR sign as well. I also have V-mod, and no matter how hard I try, it doesn't even show up. Can I get some help over here?

I think Vmod is old and broken (it's been around since V8-V9 IIRC) , check the upload date of addons before you download them, if it's older than a year it probably won't work.

Some addons aren't in addon format; if the main directory of the ZIP or RAR says 'maps' 'materials 'models' or such, extract to garrysmod/garrysmod instead of addons.

you cant install the twitch weaponry because you dont have CSS
they show up as errors because you dont have the models from CSS available for gmod

That's why my CSS models don't work!
