You should try Interstate '76. Muscle cars with guns. It was the predecessor of these. It has very low requirements, so most computers can run it effortlessly.

I think Twisted Metal 2 came out for the PC.

The N64 version was the best because it still had those 64-bit songs which where much better then the PS version.

I didn't play 2nd offense but they got rid of the school bus in the 2nd game because at the time the Columbine shooting happened and it got pulled, and they replaced it with a prison bus.

personally I love this game more then Twisted Metal.

Recently Vigilante 8: Arcade Edition came out for the Xbox 360's marketplace. It has very nice GFX and SFX, along with 8 unique levels, 10 unique cars, plus one hidden car. (I bet you know what it is if you've beaten all the Vigi 8's.) They might make it for PC. But probably not for awhile, seeing as how on the Xbox 360, there's online play.
