Author Topic: Tom Sawyer on bass, PRETTY DAMN HARD  (Read 2000 times)

ok seriously, why does everyone think Rock Band and Guitar Hero equate to musical talent? They don't. I don't know if it's just me, but I never got any challenge out of either game.

because you play on easy.

I facepalmed at the first post,

State when you're talking about rockband and when your not, if you knew that he wasn't.

ITT: Person realizes he made dumb mistake, goes with it acting like he knew the whole time, confuses everyone.

Actually, no, I realized this and decided to be sarcastic instead.

ITT: Person who jumps to wrong conclusions and only is fooling himself with his self-appointed importance.

Actually, it's helped me get a better rhythm with drums, so that now the drum set I have ordered won't just sit there and collect dust. Now I have a few ideas to start off with. Yeah, it's no replacement for an actual tutor, however, it's gotten me in a far better skill than just beating on them without it has.

I would love to play you on expert in any instrument you want, even vocals.

I understand with drums, Same with the guitar, it teaches you to do seperate things with your hands at the same time, a vital skill for a guitarist. Although, you have no idea how many people I know who have beaten every guitar hero game on expert and then are shocked when they ask to play my guitar and they can't do a chord change.

is that a challange?

Sure, although I sold all my guitar hero and rock band games when I sold my wii so your out of luck.

I can play hard on guitar hero and rock band. but in real life i can chord change at a ok speed. but im trying to get better so i can move up to bass guitar so i can play in my frineds band. and if i cant do that, then i can do singer. im pretty good at singing

Oh I know I'm no expert even if I'd master the game. It'll still be years before I become an actual decent drum player, that's why I'm getting an actual drum set. And maybe a friend of mine will teach me on a budget.

^^^

Didn't confuse me at all. He was joking.

I have some old videos I could probably dig up if you absoulutly care that much.

Seriously though, it's a freaking video game about playing guitar, Yeah it can be fun especially with friends, but it's no substitute for the real thing.

I can do at least medium on drums and at least hard on everything else. GH Wourld Tour
