Tom Sawyer on bass, PRETTY DAMN HARD

I've been learning tom sawyer by rush on bass, and now my fingers are blistering.

Its just that bass solo during the the guitar part.

Have you ever had to do something like that?

Well since I'm darned sure your fingers don't blister on a plastic controller, I'm guessing he is actually one of the few who got motivated to use a real bass. Awesome if that's the case.
