There's also the issue of when you're trying to trace something, the funky shirt script causes hundreds of lines of console output per second when trace is on.
I personally don't use the anti funky shirt script. I just permaban people who use the funky shirt. It's not necessary, it doesn't make you any cooler. It's just stuff, causing more stuff to be done by the server so people can see you change colors. Whoop-de-doo look at me change colors using someone elses work.
As much as I hate Badspot's nerfing of script capabilities, he should client-side hard limit the updates to once per 30 seconds or so.
