There are a couple of servers that don't have add-ons to download. One that's up right now is "Badspot's Lag Party" which is a good place to build stuff and check out other people's builds.

That link shows how many add-ons a server has. It's sometimes a good idea to join one of the servers with a lot of add-ons before you go to do something else; assuming you don't mind leaving your computer on / Blockland running. This way you're able to multitask downloading add-ons so you won't have to later.

If you're joining a server it doesn't matter what add-ons you have enabled in your add-ons list. The files the server needs are still on your computer so it'd take the same length of time to load.

But if you already have them installed, you shouldn't need to download them from the server... right?

Normally on my servers the only downloaded addons I have are JVS content, the shotgun and sniper rifle.
