Author Topic: Cannot Make a new Mission  (Read 824 times)

Well, I have sucessfully accessed Mission Editor. However, I need to create an MIS file and whenever I click on "New Mission" It says it "Cannot Execute Mission File: editor/newMission.mis" Any help on why this is happening?

Create a shortcut to Blockland, right click the shortcut, click Properties, and at the end of target outside the quotation marks put in -mod editor
Doubleclick the shortcut and it should work.

Ok, thank you.

EDIT: Didn't Work. Any more suggestions?

Nvm, It did work, but what do I do when I open Blockland?

Press F11 to open the mission editor once you start the game.

I tried this, but it didnt work. Currently the shortcut is to: C:\Blockland\editor.bat . Is that correct? When I click it and press F11, nothing happens.

LOL. No. It goes like this: "C:\Program files\Blockland\Blockland.exe -mod editor"

Creating a mission via the "New mission" button was most likly disabled due to the way maps are loaded in Blockland, aka via the Add-ons Folder.

If you wish to create a new map, create a folder within Add-ons and call it Map_Namehere. Then right-Click on Map_Bedroom and drag and drop it ontop of the new folder and extract all the contents within it.

Once this is done rename the files to your new map name. Though at this point you probably still have no clue on how to open a .mis file and some other wanker can explain that.
