Author Topic: How do I change my internal ip?  (Read 1945 times)

Ok then, tell me how to tell the internal ip to my laptop

It is a case of the "IP Conflicts" if it is crashing, I say restart the router/modem.

Mines 192.168.0.158.

Mine's 192.168.1.68

He needs to set a static IP to forward ports -_-

i dont see how its conflicting, it always goes to 169, not 192.

i belive my topic has been derailed

He needs to set a static IP to forward ports -_-

My output is very wierd.

All of my computers/TVs have the same output IP.

But @TapeDeck

Its diffrent from difrent routers. Some make the IP for you than mapping it manually.

Change it in your network settings. It's the IP you change after you forward your ports (a static IP).

Change your default gateway in network settings (turn off automatically retrieve DNS).

mine always defaults .1 or .2 or something simple.

why would you need to change it anyways?
