Based on what info you gave I would use this:
V_fs² = V_is² + 2a_sΔs
V_fs² = (1.6)² + 2(-0.0067368421)(145)
V_fs² = 2.56 + -1.953684209
√(V_fs²) = √(0.606315791)
V_fs = 0.7786628224

I got 0.7786628224 m/s, but you should check my maths :o

Bleh. you're right. That's ridiculous, I actually did this last night and it failed, I even redid it with the right acceleration too. (I technically can turn in the answer after 10, it just won't count.)
