Is this what college stuff is like?

11th grade. :S

I'm confused for the first time in awhile.

Oh crap, I have to take this next year.

This is kinematics, algebra,  it gets much, much, harder. Magnetism, electricity, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and many other goodies are waiting for you.

If you get the answer, please tell.

Based on what info you gave I would use this:
Vfs2 = Vis2 + 2asΔs
Vfs2 = (1.6)2 + 2(-0.0067368421)(145)
Vfs2 = 2.56 + -1.953684209
√(Vfs2) = √(0.606315791)
Vfs = 0.7786628224

I got 0.7786628224 m/s, but you should check my maths :o

Edit: oops too slow you went offline guess we'll never know ):

forget... I'm doing physics next semester as a freshman...(No, It's not AP.)

Probably a different difficulty of level.

And, you might be thinking of physical science.

Bleh. you're right. That's ridiculous, I actually did this last night and it failed, I even redid it with the right acceleration too. (I technically can turn in the answer after 10, it just won't count.)

Guess I shouldn't have rounded.  :cookieMonster:
