Really, the games already very cheap, all things considered. If you seriously needed a discount, you're poor, and thus don't have a computer.

It will never be free.

It's a 20 dollar one time fee, it's not like we're forcing micro transactions on you to get the full game, you pay once you get the full game, I know it's a scary concept but in the end it's better for the end user.
