Author Topic: A New Modeling Tutorial for Blockland  (Read 485 times)

Ok, I have tried milkshape, blender, and google sketchup.  I have no idea how to add mount points, and do all the other necessary things to actually make my models work.  I'd love it if an experienced modeler would make a step by step guide on how to make vehicles/items.  If anyone could make a detailed, quality tutorial for any of the three programs above, that'd be very much appreciated.

I know there have been other tutorials made, but they are crap and usually out of date + they dont specify their program's version.

I need one too. I only know some basic modeling things and how to handle the programm, but not really on preparing it for blockland

I really wish someone who's better at Milkshape than i am would make a better 'Modeling in Milkshape 3D' tutorial D:

In Blender:
Go into the "Add" menu;
Click "Bone";
Go into Edit Mode;
Make Parent "detail32";
Ctrl-P the Bone;
Name it MountPoint/MuzzlePoint/mount0-32;
Hit done;
????
PROFIT.

Derp. It worked for me, and I have the latest version of Blender.

It would be nice to have some more advanced tutorials for the various programs as well.
