Firefox VS internet explorer

I know this is kind of a pointless topic. But I have been using Internet Explorer for a while. So I checked out Firefox. Now i'm using it all the time. It has better toolbars and everything. Now I only use Internet explorer for Downloading. Cause Firefox's Downloading is a hassle.

How is downloading in Firefox a hassle? Is it that fact that it doesn't automatically download and execute every piece of stuff/malware thrown at it from a webpage?

Only thing annoying about firefox is that sometimes the pause button breaks the download, but its happening less and less now soo cools bro.
