What kind of Tablet should I get?

I'm putting a tablet up on my christmas list, I just don't know what kind. I would've searched, but with advances in technology those posts become outdated :\

I put one on my christmas list to

Intuos.4 Small. Best tablet i have ever had.

And still using.

After using both a 4x6 wacom tablet and an 8x11 tablet (or something similar) you'll notice a huge difference in the amount of control you have, but that's  not to say a 4x6 is useless.  Also the price difference is fairly high.
