Author Topic: Not every build has to be perfect in the gallery  (Read 948 times)

Seriously whenever I look in a thread there is always one comment that is negative. It doesn't even matter if there new or not, it has to an amazing build or it sucks. I remember when I joined my 1st build sucked now that I look back on it. But not one person insulted it. Actually look when the person joined, most people try their best to build something and it doesn't help to flame and insult them.

Example: (this person is not 'new' but it sounds like they tried)

Thread

Posts that stand out to me in thread:

So It's not a demo build... Well if It's not a demo build it sucks.

I don`t like it so no cookies for you!!!

you don't have the demo, in which case, it's not a demo build, and nice pile of spam you have there, the roof looks very spammy

Also I understand it wasn't a demo build but there is no need to get angry at him for having the word demo in the title

But it wouldn't kill the person to try harder on what they build, right?

On earth, theirs nothing you can do to stop people from bitching about anything. There will always be haters and flamers.

but some people do try hard

Indeed, however this isn't Earth. It is the internet.

I agree with this. There was another thread not too long ago in which someone posted some demo builds. I remember someone posting something along the lines of "don't play Blockland" just because the person who posted the demo builds couldn't get the full version. It makes me wonder if people even bother to read this thread.

I think Badspot should really start looking closer at posts that break that rule within gallery.
It seems to me like you can just take a dump on a build, wipe your ass and come on the forums tomorrow.

The internet is worse.

I always give constructive criticism towards other's build.
Like advice on how to make their roof better, Or how they can use Print plates to make the floor neater.

People try their hardest, and most of the time their hardest they can build people get pissed off at him/her. Seriously, I like seeing the builds in the gallery. Sucky or not, I still like to make positive comments. I just like what people can come up with.

There's a report button for a reason; Badspot shouldn't need to read every single post.
