No, but I don't think that that would work. It used to show POST with this CPU in.

Try it. If it works, either your motherboard isn't compatible with it or the CPU's bad.

Well, my pentium 4 worked, and allowed me to reset my BIOS. So it's the CPU, i guess. I'll try the CPU one more time.

It also could be that your motherboard or PSU cant supply the new processor with enough power.
