So you went to a party but you weren't really 'there', so to say? That sucks, you could have just been sleeping at home or doing something you actually wanted to.
No one drags me off to parties, but I would personally hate not going and missing out on a good time.

On-Topic: New Year's was boring this year. Everyone in my house but me went to bed at 10. I stayed up all night.

That's how my New Year's was last year. My mom stayed up with me and then went to sleep right after, I stayed up a little longer watching TV. No one in my family was throwing a party, and all of my friends that usually threw parties were either on vacation or with family and whatnot.

Bleh, the wording confused me. I switched "other" and "than".
HOWEVER,
I think the same thing about New Year's, and I wasn't at a party.

Lol, I'm usually terrible with wording sentences until I wake up more. Just give it a few hours :p

And yeah. I really don't understand why people make a big deal about a passing year. I could see maybe some cultural significances in certain countries/religions, or maybe in past cultures where the celebration may have originated, but that's definitely not the case any more.

This is the first New Year that I've been active for on the forums, so I posted it now.

Actually, if I posted this last year then it would be a valid point that I didn't go to any parties.
