Logic and Reason are both pretty sick software. And it's worth it, as well as Ableton Live and FL Studio.

I like it but for some reason it seems flat. I don't know why it sounds like that, but I know something is missing.

Sounds to me like the kick is barely present, I can feel it aside from the bass but it's really hard to hear it.
That could be what makes it sound so "flat."
