Author Topic: So I got a Wacom Tablet...  (Read 759 times)

And I must say, it is really fun. I have been playing with it over the last week, and made some small drawings that I'll post here.

I'm not a great artist by any means, but these are a few that I've done that I enjoyed making. All of these were done in Photoshop, by the way.

A plain sketch drawing I did. This was the first one I did when I got the tablet.

A drawing of a manga/anime-ish character. Nothing very special.

SpongeBob!

A cartoony drawing of Link.

The same one as above, but with color.

A sort of "rock on" hand.

A kitty cat.

This was suppose to be my dog, but she wouldn't stay still.

Kirby :D

Lots of fun, I personally prefer using it over drawing on paper.

Keep practicing :)
I had a hard time drawing on a tablet at first.
It's hard for me to get used to the surface :s

Try to take your time more. Also, use layers if you aren't already, it doesn't look like you are. Layers are the best thing ever.

Yeah I use layers for coloring, I <3 layers :D

Practice is key, you've got some good things going from what i can see, just work at it over and over. Great job.

I use layers, they are very useful for many things. None these were serious work, so although I used layers they may not really appear that way.

Give it a month and then see how well you can draw with it.
Can we see some non-tablet drawings?
