It may be boring, but most scripting is, I can't imagine anyone doing the following....
Fred: Hey how was your weekend?
Bob: I went skydiving
Fred: Sounds fun.
Bob: What about you.
Fred: I scripted an event for a game.
Bob: Whats scripting
Fred: ehh It Involves a lot of typing.
Bob: LUCKY I WISH I HADNT WENT SKYDIVING AND SCRIPTED SOMETHING OVER MY WEEKEND!

Just saying buddy Usually making the game is boring, playing is the fun part, making add-ons just adds to the Fun.
And sometimes you need to do something boring to get fun out of it, for example, a job you must earn money to spend it on fun things like strippers. So Scripters must first make something before they get the fame and glory everyone gives them for their amazing work.
