Try this:
onActivate -> Client -> CenterPrint -> <var:pl:VARNAME>

wow, i was thinking one thing and typed another, lol. I'm sorry I'm very tired.
For Example <var:player:North> Or maybe Degrees could be used, like so <var:player:70>

I think you can get the player's direction somehow. Check the built-in guide.

No it doesn't, what do you want the display variable to process? the display on a print brick? Decals on a player?

There's player velocity, but not player orientation.
