What are some ways to make my computer do its best?

i took my laptop on a car trip to a yurt. I left it in the car while we hiked to the yurt and stayed for 1 1/2 days. When i came back and opened it the screen a a thin layer of ice on it. I stuff cinder blocks. (luckily there is no noticeable damage)

Water doesn't do anything to electronics if they're off. You just need to wait for it to dry.

So it's okay to open up my laptop to do this? I wasn't sure if this kind of thing was only meant for desktops or not.

Get a cooling pad. They're usually just like a little platform thing your laptop sits on and usually has a fan or two.
Do what I did: Google image your laptops motherboard, find the CPU and memory and cool that stuff off.
My Latitude D610 burns some times.
