When: 2004 or 2005, (dont rember which year computer club started.)

Where: At school

How: Me and a group of my friends joined computer club, tried to learn about computers, failed, then played some blockland :)

And yes, I know people have made posts like this before.

I was looking for free online building games, like Roblox, and found a link to this.
I played the demo (I found Blockland in v8) and loved the game, but was afraid to ask my parents as I thought I would be denied.
Fast forward to v10, and I asked my parents, and boom. I got the game.

When: 200x Not sure of the exact year, but around v8
Where: My house, the internet.
How: Goooooogle.

Saw footage from the game on the internet, wondered what it was, searched for it, found homepage, downloaded demo, bought a year later, joined the forums, made a bunch of posts, started to reply to this topic, finished typing the period at the end of this sentence.

Since the start of '09, occasional conversations in Roblox. Finally decided to check it out for myself on June 1 (and bought it June 2.)

Whilst playing Age of Time

Saw the 'If you haven't already played it, go here' type message directed towards Blockland, played the demo for ages, quit for 6 months, played for 2 weeks, got an activation key (7/10/2007 - ID 6743) and the rest is history

When: I had demo in v7, but didn't buy full version til v8.

How: He was always trying new games, so I came over to his house and got hooked on BL.

Early, early, 2009.

After watching Lego videos on youtube a blockland showed up on the "recommended to you" page.
I downloaded the demo, played it for a few weeks then my brother bought it. I bought it a week later.

When: around 9000 ID's
How: Heedicallking was working on making his own videogame. He needed 3D modelers and asked around roblox. I told him I didn't know how, but could atempt to learn. I DL'd anim8or and started up. Heed got in trouble on roblox, got banned, and said he would be playing this game called "blockland" from now on. I checked it out, fell in love with it, and bought it.
