Theres a difference between liking and fanboyism.
I used to drool over Halo; I guess its when something is good enough to win over your mind against all the competition, and people get convinced it is the best thing ever. Plus the rate of really, really good games released is pretty small, so I guess good games aren't hard to idolize.

I'm that way with Star Trek. I drool profusely, but I'm at that point where I don't care if someone hates it or goes on the Star Wars offensive. lol

Star Wars is good, but Lucas seems to be treating it like Microsoft did to Halo.

i drooled over it.
then i realized halo 2 was better
when gtaiv came out
i drooled over it, then i got gta sa and realized that was way better.
when the gtaiv:EoLC came out.
i drooled over it, and still do.

Star Wars is good, but Lucas seems to be treating it like Microsoft did to Halo.

I enjoy Star wars as well. It is an entertaining medium. But I've gotten a lot of flack for saying it to Star Wars fans, but the whole movie trilogy of 1-3 were really just remakes of the original trilogy. Just new effects and a couple snazzy splosions thrown in. I'd go into detail, but no need to anger the jedi wannabes. lol

You really shouldn't have posted this, but I agree.  Jirue was an epic center of HL2 builds, but they were pretty neat. Also, I haven't really seen anymore source of Valve cigarettes lately, so why are you complaining about this?
