The only Valve games I like are L4D, L4D2, the Half Life series and Portal kind of.

Mostly L4D and L4D2 cause I'm obsessed with zombie games.

Valve ideas are often used because they add creative and gameplay-altering changes to the game, unlike halo which just has generic guns and vehicles.
