Just installed it. It's awesome.

I didn't like it, but whatever.
Lots of fiddling to get it to work on mine, and CBF screwing with drivers.

Worked right away, networking and all, using a Dell PowerEdge SC420(server)

Lucky. My old Alienware had driver troubles and some other stuff. I went back to XP at the time.

Dells work with Linux pretty well.

You can order your Dell with Ubuntu already installed instead of windows.

This was before Alienware got bought out, still the older case style. Printer, Graphics card and (loving) sound didn't work, plus I was, strangely, unable to format, so it was a huge mess.

And I could only fix the first two.
forget you Creative. Seriously. :<

Eventually I formatted the whole lot and started again with Vista. That is as it is now. Pretty good.

I couldn't ever get my graphics drivers to work with it, so I moved to 7.
