Yes. iPhones have been jailbroken since the first was released. Then the App Store was announced and there was a decline in jailbreaking because you could get apps officially.


Not many jailbrakes work successfully on an iPod Touch 3rd gen iphone/ipod touch os 3.1.3. I made this topic to see if there were any ways to do it without having to wait for the new version of pwnage tool to come out. I'm locking this topic, if ppl keep talking about it being illegal ect.

I heard Red Snow may work.

Also jailbreaking isn't illegal only downloading copyrighted apps is.

no, it voids your warranty however.
But you could just reset the iPod and get your warranty back. Or so I hear.

Depends what you do with it.

If you just jailbreak it, thats fine.
However, if you download every single app for free, then its illegal
