Logically that makes no sense. Evolution is everywhere. Cultures evolve, technology evolves... everything changes over time. Why would life be the only exception?

Microevolution is completely true, and has no conflict with creation.  However, you cannot equivocate microevolution and macroevolution.  They are not the same.

In your description, you are correct.  Life is not an exception.  It "evolves" as you described cultures "evolve".  But that is not macroevolution, which is what most people mean by "evolution".

Making people uncomfortable seems to be the primary result of truth when applied to a people who have been indoctrinated with false assumptions.

Surely it depends on how much you wish to assign to God, and how much to 'evolutionary processes' or whatever you believe took over, if you do, after he finished creating.

While I definitely appreciate your thinking on this, I must say that I am not a mechanist.  I believe that God, before the beginning of time, preordained everything that has, is, or will come to pass.  God did not just "build the watch and leave it ticking", he actively intervenes in his Providence over everything.  Needless to say, with our modern "reasoning", most of the formerly Christian culture of the West has dropped this view in favor of a creation-evolution synthesis, or outright evolutionism.

Please, don't get me wrong, microevolution is a proven fact, and used by God to create the "variety within kinds" that we see today, but "variety surpassing kinds" has never been shown to be true, and is antithetical to the creationist worldview.

This is why creation-evolution synthesis has always failed.  They are polar opposites, mostly because of the context in which each view is held.  Creation is held because of a belief in God, evolutionism is held in lieu of a better theory to explain life without God.  You can't synthesize them.

Well, it gives more than that.  Like any worldview, it provides epistemology, eschatology, explanation, and ethics.  These are the foundations of cultures, of states, of the world!  However, Christianity is the only worldview in existence that is complete, cohesive, and does not contradict itself.  However, because it's first cause (which every worldview has, including atheism) is God, people refuse to believe it and instead opt for a contradictory worldview that they have control over.
