Dear Ministry and Colleagues:
Due to recent events, I must address specific matters that need to be resolved.
To start off, as you all know there is a re-app planned. My initial intentions for a re-app was to be able to really see where everyone stands building wise. The only risk of someone being removed due to this would be if their build was horrendous, which shouldn't happen with this group anyways. You've all made it into the clan, then that must mean in some way, shape or form, you're a good builder. I didn't realize something I perceived to be so simple could kill the clan, but it has already wounded it. As of right now, I am formally cancelling the re-app.
We have not really finished a group build in a while. As soon as everyone is ready to get back on the horse, we should definitely start considering some more ideas. This time, we have to stick with it; no turning back. So think real hard before you contribute an idea, is it do-able for Colleagues?
There is one member I feel should be removed, as great as a builder this individual is, he's that guy at work that sits in his cubical playing solitaire all day and only once in a blue moon does he peak over the divider and say "Hello". As of now, I would like to start a vote to remove Ace from Colleagues. I believe I have heard that he's off at college, but even when was here, I barely saw him.
Finally, I singled out Ministry in the opener for one reason. I would like to publicly apologize for removing you earlier in 2010. I understand your discontent with me, since you have told me in the past that you hate being crossed. But you need to understand the whole situation. The clan voted you out, yes my vote was included, but stop putting this all on me. It's rather irritating to me to hear your counter argument "You removed me from MY clan." That's exactly how you said it. I'd just like to remind you how Colleagues was formed.
It was mid-February in early 2010. It was a cold, crisp day here in New England. While building on my server, accompanied by Lordy Lord and Barnabas, a newly made friend Ministry came on by. I finished constructing a loft on the apartment building I had just built, and Ministry, myself, and Barnabas were sipping tea while sitting on a very comfortable sofa. We started to chat about old clans like the prestigious clans USSR and MotE. I suggested the idea of creating a clan for the main reason of enjoying a great clan again like back in the old days. Ministry, you loved the idea; you were all for it. Barnabas then came up with the name "Colleagues" from an encounter he once had when he was called "Colleague". Then C was born.
After Colleagues was put together, we created our first build: [C] Pub. It was a small, lovely build. After some time, you disappeared Ministry. I cannot quite say the exact time, but you disappeared. All by myself I managed the clan for a month or two. Then you finally returned! It was a relief to see you back and take some leadership, but shortly after that you disappeared again for a very long time. Then the clan voted you out.
So please, stop calling it your clan. I hate being under-minded when in reality I have done a lot for a clan which was my idea in the first place. I would hate for a clan to come between us, Ministry, so I sincerely apology and ask for your forgiveness.
