The strongest thunderstorm that I've ever seen just ripped through my town and lasted about only 10 minutes. It was so violent, and the winds were just insane. So powerful, that it snapped an entire tree in half and the tree fell on my elderly neighbor's house. Gladly, she's alright. I was just amazed looking out my porch door to the trees up the street. Most of them bent to almost form a right angle. In New England, we get some pretty nasty storms (Nor Easters, etc). But never like this. My street was completely flooded, however, this time the water came up onto my lawn which has never happened. Also, all the streets around mine were blocked off due to downed trees and large branches. I love storms, they rather fascinate me. With this storm, I was actually frightened by it's surprising strength.
Which is why I randomly left the server today, Lalam; I lost power.
