How to load saves that you have downloaded?

Well you know how some people post saves to download. How do I use them? I tried putting them in my saves folder in the right map folder but they don't show up when I try to load them. I am a mac and when I download them it comes up as a Textedit file.

Go to your Blockland folder and go to saves, then you see the maps.
Put the save in slate and voila you successfully installed a save.
