What I plan to use it for

I need it to run gimp, blender, and blockland smoothly.  I also would like to know if it can run other games easily. Nothing like crysis, but things like spore. I have no idea what these specs mean, and I was wondering if this would be a good comp to buy. It has a little upgraded RAM I do believe.

I'm not an expert but I'm going to have to go with no.

Dangit :(

It's a very nice computer but it is more for conventional things like microsoft word and what not. I am trying to look up the actual gaming cababilities of the graphics card to no avail.

No, that's worse than my crappy computer.

Ok... lemme ask you this. Is it better than an HP mini?

Any three-digit ID for an ATI card means it's integrated.
Also, how expensive is it? You can get a good Dell for $500-800.
If you really want a good laptop for the money, you should look at Toshibas.

It's my grampas old work lap top. Hes only had it 3 months.
He's selling it for 300 bux which is perfect for my budget right now.

Pardon my lack of knowledge but what do you mean by "integrated?"

Integrated as in a card specifically mounted into the Motherboard that uses shared memory.

If that's your budget, it should run Blockland Decently on low settings, but good luck getting Spore to run :U

So by shared memory it means that the... card has to perform other functions than just running the game?

Edit: And if I was to buy another lap top, what would you recomend in the price range of 600 or less? I want it to be functional, while being able to run most games smoothly as well.

I would just build a computer.

That laptop is terrible, even for a laptop.

Save up your money and buy or build a desktop.

Laptops are bad for gaming. You are better off getting a Desktop PC.
