RAM upgrades won't free hard drive space, and his specs don't matter in the least. Get out.

You're right, they don't, they add hard drive space. Is your brain functional, sir?

WTF, same post miga

You clearly don't know what RAM is.

Jesus christ, are you 12? Name calling certainly won't help. Computer specs do matter, he may already have a RAM upgrade. He could just need to delete some research. Other than that, he could have some stuffty laptop from 2003 that needs a RAM upgrade.

How am I handicapped for suggesting a RAM upgrade?

Post your computer specs, ShadowZero.

Because ram is completely irrelevant to memory.

RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It's used for temporary things, so nothing can be permanently saved to RAM. and therefor it does not add hard drive space and can not be used as a hard drive.

He's not asking what needs to be upgraded, he's asking how to free HDD space.

Get out.

Tell me what the first result is.

Because yummerz is handicaper,

How big is your current harddrive.

And, yes, an external hard drive should be fine. Although all you would be able to store on it is "family" pictures and other basic files.

When I was 8 I knew what RAM did, Yummerz, you sir are the handicap.
