Author Topic: What to do with 150ft coax cable?  (Read 3114 times)

So my roommate moved out at the start of the semester and left behind the coaxial cable we were using for the TV. Two things:
 1. I don't watch TV.
 2. This thing is insanely long. Like, 150 feet. Where or why he got this thing is unknown.

So I kinda want to use it for something cool, but I don't know what. Any suggestions? Preferably things I could attach to the wall as they're a bit bare.

Put the tv on the roof, use that cable, and watch tv and get a tan

Amazing.

If you have cable interwebs, put your modem on the roof and power it with solar power.

Walk around your local super-market with one end of it down the back of your pants and the other end dragging behind you.

Sell it on Ebays for like 50 bucks.

If only... I had a treehouse and a long coax...

Unfortunately I live in a dorm so no treehouse or rooftop tanning. Ah, if only...

First, grow a tree on in your dorm. Make sure it grows out the window. Then build a second dorm out on the tree. But a tv in there and use the cable.

set up a camera in someone else's dorm and be a creep

Do you hate anybody? Use it to hang them.
