Author Topic: Happy birthday to me, and yet, my present becomes bankruptcy  (Read 2911 times)

Oh. Well in that case, I'm clueless.

Well I also forgot to explain that the most fun I had today was driving my dad's car.

Since I'm 16, and all, my dad drove us down to the parking lot of my old school (It was empty) and I got to try driving for the first time, not in a simulator. It was legal for me to drive it since it's private property.

I learned all about how the clutch works, shifting gears was simple since I learned from rFactor a long time ago, and I learned how incredibly fun Standard Transmission is. :D

you gotta start earning properly when you hit 18. sure do your college and have a stuffty normal job.
but on the side you need to invest in anything but a standard bank savings account. that is a a horrible way to use your money.

spending a measly 2k a year, you can be a millionaire by 25.

Put the bill on another credit card.
Legally, you're not allowed to do that.

I feel incredibly sorry for you man... did you guys max out your money or get identity theft...ed?

Either way man, it sucks. There's this website where peopel can donate directly to your pay pal. All you need to do is advertise your cause and post the link on facebook or something.

I really feel for you dude.

well its not fair to assume his parents are just stupid shoppers.
the normal reason why a family would have that much dept is because of 2 things;

1) medical problems. someone might have been dieing or injured or something and they had to dig into savings and credit to help them.

2) lost jobs. can live off credit cards for awhile, sounds stupid but your desperate to not have your home foreclosed on while your job hunting. and 6 months-year can go by fast.

if he wants a future for himself, he basically needs to abandon his family lol. when he becomes and adult with his own credit and money, he has to look out for only himself.
ive seen to many people my age ruin their lives because they love their family TO much, and are TO helpful.

It's incredibly sad, but true aswell.

Aren't credit cards for emergency's?

Well I dont see what Id ever use a credit card for aside from an emergency. If I dont have the money why would I buy something?

We are bankrupt too because of a hacker! *High five*

I thought the same thing, but sometimes it's a little hard unless you got a plan and good self control.

good thing my family is kind of staying alive while the rest of you guys are losing your houses, going poor, etc.

I think claiming bankruptcy will be best for you family.  I think if you do that you wont have to pay back the 200,000.  I'm not completely sure here.
